ABC Stores Jumpstart Scholarship
All employees of ABC Stores and their dependents, attending an accredited two- or four-year college or university or trade school as either an undergraduate or graduate student, are eligible to apply for ABC Stores Jumpstart Scholarships which are awarded once a year. The Hawaii Community Foundation, the administrator of the program, selects recipients on the basis of financial need, academic achievement and good moral character.
Flexible Spending Accounts
ABC Stores flexible spending accounts (FSA) allow you to deduct a portion of your salary on a pre-tax basis to cover two specific types of expenses: dependent care (DDC) and unreimbursed medical (URM).
Bus Pass/Parking Subsidy
The Company provides transportation assistance (reimbursement) to employees driving to work and paying for parking or catching the bus – subject to certain restrictions.
Vacation
Vacation pay (1 to 4 weeks per year) is based on your years of service
Sick Leave
Sick leave, up to 7 days a year
Holiday Pay
Paid holidays, up to 7 days a year
Disability Insurance
Temporary Disability Insurance – receive benefits when you are on leave due to non-work related injuries or illnesses. The Company pays for 100% of the premium. Long Term Disability Insurance offered to salaried employees. The Company pays for 50% of the premium.
Supplemental Insurance
Get extra protection and benefits with one of four of AFLAC’s supplemental insurance policies, which include: Accident Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance Intensive Care Insurance, and Critical Illness.
